Quiet Skies Caucus Pushes for Action on Airplane Noise in FY18 Spending Bill

The Congressional Quiet Skies Caucus is urging the House Appropriations Committee to require the FAA to do a study of the health impacts of aircraft noise and pollution. The members of the Caucus specify in their letter that the FAA should be directed to evaluate other methods of measuring noise than Day/Night Level 65 model such as use of actual noise sampling. See the letter here.
